My name is Joell, and I am the President & Director of Lightning All-stars. Founded in 2004, I had a vision of an All-star cheerleading league that was based on teaching valuable skills such as tumbling, gymnastics, team building and friendly competition while fostering a culture of hard work, accountability and a family atmosphere that was second to none. In 9 years, we have accomplished that and so much more. In 2010 we were Grand Champions at US Finals in Virginia Beach, 2015 Cheersport National Champions, 2015 Jamfest National Champions and continue to be the fastest growing All-star Cheerleading league in WNY !
1) We are a not-for-profit organization. What this means to you is that our volunteers (you the parent), put your children #1 in the success of our organization.
2) All of our coaches are USASF certified. In addition, our coaches continue to stay up to date on the latest trends and changes with USASF rules and regulations by attending Jam U university in Louisville, Kentucky annually. (an organization responsible for teaching ethics, proper coaching techniques, new rules, new stunt sequences and business skills to all of our volunteers.)
3) Our Cheerleading Organization is the most affordable competitive league in Buffalo and Western New York......Guaranteed! You have 1, that's right just 1 monthly payment which includes all costs. Unlike most all-star teams we are a non-profit. All funds raised go directly back to the cheerleaders for competition fees as well as any expenses such as new equiptment. Also, as a non-profit we provide multiple fundraising opportunities to every family to pay for all costs incurred.
Our volunteers are always giving of their time, experience, patience and devotion in order for the children of this organization to be successful.
